DETERMINATION AND COMMITMENT, what they are to us and how they differ, have often been a topic for reflection.

Let's start with the definition:

DETERMINATION - Determination and firmness in pursuit of the goal are caused by a very strong internal belief in the right direction of our actions.

This term may refer to matters that are objectively great and subjectively most important in life, and sometimes determination comes from the desire for only a small change. Every time, however, it activates very strong, original mechanisms in us.

COMMITMENT - It is a conscious decision as to what we want and whether it is satisfying for us.

For many there is no difference, for others there is. Some people find the word DETERMINATION very unfavorable.

But to the point.

Some have language skills. Others do not, and spend hours in a dictionary and books to learn foreign languages.

Does this stop them or does DETERMINATION help them in achieving their goal?

Similarly, with cooking, some conjure up something extremely colorful, appetizing with several ingredients. Others will burn water for tea, but they will give you tea. My question is purely rhetorical: how much will you give up, and do you belong to this group?

Percentage - a small number of people will give up.

Rather, the others will move forward because they are pushed by COMMITMENT and purpose, so they easily overcome obstacles.

You must act so that things happen, not wait until they happen. ... The biggest success is overcoming yourself, your weaknesses, and your excuse alibi.

Standard excuses include:

* I am not brave nor have courage

* I can’t

* I am not able to

* Others say it doesn't make sense

* I have never done this

* I am not ready

* I can't now because ...

“I don't have the courage”; it is my favorite.

I often hear "It's easy for you to say because ....." and here is a stream of words that everything I have come by express mail. The truth is that some time ago I tried to change a few things in my life. I went to them for the first time, I don't know which order. In addition, by the same methods and methods. Big WOW, boom, desire for change, euphoria, positive winding up ... and flying motivation like air from a balloon. I was in the same dead spot again when I was at the beginning. Now I know that I lacked the courage to try something new, something from the land of "I'm afraid because I don't know". If we still do the same, why do we expect different results??? Achieving goals is about taking risks. Risks related to doing things and activities that until now we have not had the courage to do. I also allowed myself deep introspection or insight into my "I". It is surprising how often we deceive ourselves.

Determination has helped me achieve my goals. I am not discouraged by small problems, opinions of the environment, or what others think about me. This is my life, and nobody will live this life for me.

And you?

How do you deal with your excuses on the road to SUCCESS?
